Proposals under consideration for local acute-care facilities
Massapequa Park Village Mayor James Altadonna is awaiting word from two hospital systems that have met with him to discuss the possibility of opening a facility to handle emergencies in the area. North Shore University Hospital and Catholic Health Services (CHS) have both expressed interest in making a proposal, said Altadonna.

Why isn't Mayor Imbert and the Board of Trustees working to bring this acute care facility to the site of the old Brunswick Hospital IN AMITYVILLE!???
