On Mon., Sept. 26, The North Amityville Fire Company responded to 43 Tyrconnell Street about 2:30 p.m. for a reported house fire. When firefighters arrived they encountered heavy smoke from the front of the house and heavy fire in the rear. Everyone in the home has escaped before firefighters arrived.
