Last Hope Animal Rescue to hold free rabies vacine clinic Oct. 10

Last Hope Animal Rescue (www.lasthopeanimalrescue. org) is holding a free rabies vaccine clinic on Sun., Oct 10, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pampered Paws Professional Pet Grooming, 325 Union Blvd., Holbrook. All Long Island pet owners are welcome. No appointment is necessary. The free rabies inoculations are limited to the first 500 dogs and cats. There will also be free heartworm blood tests available for the first 100 dogs. All dogs must be leashed; cats must be in carriers. Pets need to be at least four months old.
