On August 28, I attended Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and I was amazed at the amount of people who attended. My estimate is 300,000 to 500,000 people were there. Everyone there was peaceful, desiring honor be restored to ourselves and to our country, and by doing so, honoring our Founders.

He also honored Martin Luther King, and rightly so, because Aug. 28, 1963 was his “I Have a Dream” speech, a speech that everyone should remember.

I was behind Glenn Beck at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and tried to get to the Reflecting Pool area or under the trees on either side of the pool in order to see the rally speakers on the giant TV screens, but the crowds were so tightly packed I could not move at all to those areas. There were people from all parts of America who wanted to show our government and our representatives that we stand for honor and hope and to send the message that they must do the same.

Glenn Beck has opened the eyes of so many Americans to the real history of our country and how far we’ve strayed from the miracle that is America. This rally should be a wake up call to everyone, or we will lose this great country.

Our Founders pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor when the American Revolution began. As Americans, we need to do the same today because our country is in deep trouble.

We trusted our representatives to be honorable people, and as it turns out, they are not. Glenn Beck has given us truth, David Barton has given us history. If you don’t know who David Barton is, please look him up at Amazon.com. He is one of the most informed historians I have ever come across; look up his books; read the truth; get to know our Founding Founders; restore our Constitution and our amazing America.

If you don’t know Glenn Beck, it is time that you do get to know him. If you know who he is but have never gotten to really know him and are keeping yourself in the dark, you won’t know the truth of what is happening in this country.
