Amityville health educator recognized for tobacco-use prevention efforts
The Tobacco-Free Healthy Schools Project and Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice recognized sixty-five Long Island schools, including Amityville’s Edmund W. Miles Middle School, for youth tobacco-use prevention efforts at a breakfast sponsored by Western Suffolk BOCES.
