Our Lady of Consolation, a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center located at 111 Beach Dr., West Islip, currently seeks compassionate individuals willing to volunteer their time as transporters, Eucharistic Ministers, office assistants, recreational therapy assistants and spiritual care Ccompanions. Interested individuals must be at least 14 years of age. Volunteers are needed seven days per week, mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
