Superintendent of the Amityville Public School District Dr. John R. Williams, along with the Board of Education, welcomed the Ministerial Alliance of North Amityville to the Park Avenue Memorial Elementary School auditorium on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Pastors from the Alliance and district teachers and administrators shared a buffet breakfast provided by the district and had the opportunity to view a PowerPoint presentation given by Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Williams that outlined the basics of the 2010-2011 school budget. Thegroup also discussed the important role that community resources play in the education and development of the district’s students, and discussed ways to continue the partnership between school and community.
