Members of the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School Madrigal Choir represented Copiague Schools at the annual Fiesta-Val Competition in Virginia. The students, under the direction of Larry Wurtzel with accompanist Gina Occhiogrosso, took first place with a Superior rating. Additionally, Jamal Grey was recognized with an Outstanding Soloist award.
