The thirty-third annual Doppy Open Golf Tournament will be held Fri., Aug. 13 at the Middle Island Country Club, Middle Island, at noon, followed by a cocktail hour and dinner. The event is sponsored by the Tobay Beach lifeguards and is named in honor of the late George Doherty, who was affectionately known as Doppy.
