Amityville Village recognized for its commitment to Green building

Amityville’s new Village Hall has been recognized as one of the leading environmentally-friendly buildings on Long Island. Thebuilding was awarded a Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification, making it one of the only three gold buildings on Long Island to receive this recognition.
