Several cases of shingles reported in Amityville
A number of people in Amityville have suffered an outbreak of shingles raising questions about the condition, how it’s spread and what preventive measures can be taken. All are individual cases and no incidents of either shingles or chickenpox, a related disease, have been reported in the Amityville School District, according to Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Williams.
