The Amityville School District offers a Summer Feeding Program which is free and open to any child from age two to 18 years old. The program runs Monday through Thursday. There is no program on Friday.

The schedule for area schools follows:

•Amityville High School runs Mon., June 28 through Thurs. July 15. Breakfast is from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch is from noon to 12:30 p.m.

•The Park Avenue Memorial Elementary School runs Tues., July 6 through Thurs., Aug. 5. Breakfast is 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

•Edmund W. Miles Middle School run Wed., July 7 through Mon., Aug. 16 for lunch only from 10:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
