Dear Editor:

On March 25 you printed my comments that you titled America needs to pay attention to those who are undermining the Constitution. On June 3 you printed a rebuttal to my comments by Charles Litwin, Babylon Village. At this time I wish to reply.

I read the rebuttal and found the writer’s lecture to be rather interesting. I didn’t intend to get into a tit for tat situation since my original comments were an expression of my thoughts on the way that our freedoms are being unjustly attacked. I believe that I have a right to my opinions as well as everyone else. I thank God that I live in this great country where I can still voice my opinions without the fear of being silenced by secret police.

America is still the greatest country in the world in spite of some failings. May our flag always fly in freedom’s cause and may we always be one nation under God.
