Longtime Amityville resident Jean Kinne Zimmermann died April 27, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Amityville, July 29, 1925. Her parents Charles Stanley and Angeline Simpson Kinne moved to Amityville from Vermont after their graduation from Middlebury College. The connection to Vermont would continue for Mrs. Zimmerman and her entire family.
