Christopher Allen is this year’s James J. Collins Memorial Scholarship winner. The scholarship is in the name of Collins, an Amityville native who loved his community and was a regular fan at Amityville High School basketball and football games. He worked for Dariene Coffee Company and died from injuries he received in a fall.
