Amityville student-artists Hermenia Reyes and Gisele Rivas have each had their work of art accepted into the 14th annual Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at the Heckscher Museum student exhibition. The district congratulates Hermenia for her ceramic relief entry and Gisele for her pastel painting. The students were honored at an awards ceremony held on April 18.
