For his many years working with charitable, nonprofit organizations, West Babylon resident James J. Smith was honored by the Suffolk County Boy Scouts, the Museum of Stony Brook and Good Samaritan Hospital where he served as a Trustee. Mr. Smith died April 25, 2010 at the age of 88.
