Fire update: Blaze at abandoned house was arson, says investigator

A fire that broke out at an abandoned house on Erlwein Court and Merrick Road on Sun., May 16, has been determined to be arson, according to Fire Investigator Joseph Whittaker of the Nassau County Fire Marshall’s office.
