ASD cuts positions; brings in tax levy increase of less than three percent
Amityville Schools is presenting a $77 million budget proposal to residents on Tuesday, a plan that calls for $2.23 million more in spending for the 2010-11 school year. That represents an increase of approximately 2.98 percent, and a reduction in instructional, administrative and maintenance staff.
