Free feral cat workshop to be held April 24
Town of Babylon Supervisor Steve Bellone and Chris Elton, director of the Babylon Animal Adoption Center (BAARC), invite you to a free feral cat education workshop to be held Sat., April 24, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Babylon Town Hall Annex, 281 Phelps Ln., North Babylon.
The program will be presented by Joan Phillips, director of the Animal Lovers League of Glen Cove and member of the Nassau County Feral Cat Committee. Her co-presenter will be Grace De- Vita, director of Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR) and past director if the Humane Division of Nassau County SPCA.
The workshop will educate, train and empower you to become involved in the effort to reduce the unrestricted breeding of feral and abandoned cats. This workshop is open to all New York residents. Refreshments will be provided.
