Help needed for breast cancer walk
The Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition is getting geared up for the upcoming Long Island Two-Day Breast Cancer Walk in June. Having been a major participant in the Walk since its beginning in 2004, the Coalition is again seeking volunteers to be part of its team.
Thetwo-day journey on June 5 and 6 is a 35-mile walk over two days and begins in Smith Point. On the Night of June 6, tents will be set up in Cathedral Pines County Park. For the walkers, there will be hot showers, massage therapists, chiropractors, podiatrists, entertainment, a hot meal as well as fun and camaraderie.
