Deauville Gardens Elementary School kids thank our Vets

The first-grade students in Ashley Price’s class at Deauville Gardens Elementary School in Copiague spent an afternoon expressing their appreciation for our nation’s soldiers, two in particular. In honor of Veterans Day, the students wrote letters of thanks to Private Ryan Dunbar, a friend of Price, and Sergeant Julio Pacora, father to first grader Hector Pacora. Both gentlemen serve in the United States Army and have recently returned home following their deployment overseas. In addition to letters, the first graders also included drawings to personalize their writing.
