Fourth graders in Peggy Murphy’s and Roseann Libretto’s classes at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School in Copiague, hosted a visit for residents of the Dominican Village in Amityville who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces. During the visit, the students read essays and poems about Veterans Day “and the debt of honor we owe our veterans,” said Murphy.
