On Thurs. Nov. 19, the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School Quiz Bowl team – consisting of captain Jacob Ohrnberger, Sam Cirola, James Nevola, Dan Handy and alternate Che Henderson - competed against Smithtown East at Cablevision’s Long Island Challenge. Although the team will not continue on in the competition, school spirit was fully represented.
