On Dec. 2, two Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School seniors were presented with the New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Suffolk Zone Award. Jessica A. Taveras and Jonli Falk were awarded certificatesand gold medals recognizing their outstanding achievement as Physical Education students, scholars and citizens.
