Students in St. Mary’s School in Amityville went on a tour of the Amityville Fire Depart­ment and learned about fire safety. This is an annual trip for students, as is the trip to Stop & Shop in November when students pick out a turkey and purchase an item for a Thanksgiving Feast that is prepared at the school.
