Burning questions for 2010
We have a few questions we'd like to see answered in 2010. Theyare the little things that sort of creep up and bother you; not burning issues such as is there life afterdeath or what is man's role in the universe. Thequestions we have are more banal. For example, if America is going to save billions of dollars in health care costs over the next decade by cracking down on fraud and abuse, how come we haven't cracked down on fraud and abuse over the past ten years?

What really happens if you tear off the tags on your mattresses and couch cushions? Are there couch cushion tag police that will come and knock on your door?

While Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano believes that the attempted terrorist attack by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab last week showed that efforts to protect the airlines are successful, what would she describe as a failure? And, does that mean that the front line of defense on the airlines are going to be the passengers?

Since when havethe struggles and strifes of the likes of Jon and Kate Gosslein, the obese, the addicted and the mentally ill become the stuff of entertainment? And, what does that show us about our culture?

And, finally, what happened to the Mets, and the Giants?

Happy New Year!
