The Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Society will hold an evening tower tour, Thurs., Dec. 31, 4 p.m. View the night sky during the Blue Moon from the top of the tower. The cost is $15 per person and reservations are required. Sunset and moonrise are at 4:34 p.m.
