Therumblings from Democratic quarters in Mineola are that the outgoing Democratic majority got the message in November’s election and is considering repealing the very unpopular home energy tax. While this is a good move for the residents of Nassau County, who are burdened with high taxes, it is too little, too late for the Democrats.
