The annual Turkey Bowl in Amityville was held, and participants and their fans enjoyed some beautiful weather. Some of the players included: Dan Heller,Tyler Heller,Bill Kretz Sr., Billy Kretz, Bobby Kretz,Tim Byrne,Jack Lagrassa,Tom Lagrassa Sr.,Tom Lagrassa, Ritchie Lagrassa, Mike Lagrassa,Joe Bozza Sr., Jo Jo Bozza,Dennis McDonough Sr., Dennis McDonough, Charlie Deckert, Dan McDonough, and Pat O’Connell. Bill Kretz Sr. said he has been playing in the Turkey Bowl since 1969.
