Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School senior Anyelo Marte won second place, in the Second District of New York under the auspices of Congressman Steve Israel, in the 28th Annual Congressional Art Competition themed, “A Vision of Green.” Marte created his design during his junior year in art teacher Lorraine Ciccotto’s graphic arts class using Adobe Illustrator.
