The Long Island National Cemetery Memorial Organization Inc. invites the public to attend the annual Veteran’s Day Memorial Service Sun., Nov. 8, 1:30 p.m. at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, Wellwood Avenue entrance. Military, veteran and organizational color guards will present their colors as they pass in review.

Comfortable seating under portable shelters will be available to all. Color guards of various veteran organizations will pass in review. Bring your children and grandchildren to this short but meaningful memorial service.

The Memorial Garden, for rest and reflection, is just one year old and is dressed in its autumn finery.

At this critical time in our history, it is an opportunity to remember the 330,000 honored dead buried at the Cemetery who have defended the country in previous wars and to support members of the Armed Services serving in the present conflicts.
