TheAmityville Kiwanis Club held its 61st Installation Dinner Thurs., Oct. 1, at the Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club. As usual, there was a great turn out of members and guests to witness the changing of the guard.

Immediate Past President, Corinne Amico handed over the Charter to new President Richard Anderson. The night was filled with laughter and friendly conversation.

Once again, John H. Schad Jr. did a wonderful job as master of ceremonies, and his ability to share his deep concern and commitment for Kiwanis and membership came through.

Suffolk West Lt. Gov. Kurt Dietrich preformed the swearing in of the new officers and board members. President Anderson addressed the club with humor and humility. He expressed his respect for immediate past present Amico’s leadership throughout her term and spoke about his plans for an ambitious agenda of programs to come.
