In a move that should not surprise many, Lew Ford’s contract was picked up by the Cincin­nati Reds organiza­tion. He has been assigned to their Triple-A affiliate. A solid ball player with the Minnesota Twins from 2003-2007, where he com­piled 32 home runs, 80 doubles and 10 triples, Ford was hitting an Atlantic League best .330 prior to the move.
