On Aug. 25, the Amityville Historical Society, along with the Lindenhurst and Babylon Village Historical Societies, celebrated the anniversary of the Cross Island Trolley’s first trip to Huntington. Thiswas made possible due to the one-third scale model of the original trolley fabricated by Joseph Bozza, a local carpenter.
