Harrelson takes part in ’69 Mets celebration
By Chris Vaccaro
Ducks co-owner Bud Harrelson, an integral part of the 1969 Mets World Series team, was on-hand August 22 at Citi Field for the 40th anniversary celebration to honor the Miracle Mets. The 16-year Major League veteran was received with a loud ovation from the Mets faithful during an on-field tribute, which also included Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Ed Kranepool and every other living member of that year’s magical team.

Unused Ducks ticket plans

Good news Ducks fans – if you missed a game earlier this season and still have the tickets, the Ducks are offering “Unused Ticket Days” at Citibank Park. The team announced that Tuesday, September 1, Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3 are designated days to use those unused tickets. “We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to come out and enjoy Ducks baseball this season,” Ducks general manager Michael Pfaff said. “We’re happy to extend this opportunity and hope to see the fans take advantage of the unused ticket dates to come to the ballpark, support the team and take part in an exciting pennant race.” According to the team, ticket holders interested in exchanging their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Citibank Park Box Office.
