Join Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center as it says farewell to summer at its “Tails at Tangers” Labor Day Weekend adoption event. This weekend will take place on Sat., Sept. 5, and Sun., Sept. 6 at Tanger Outlets at TheArches in Deer Park. Festivities will run between noon and 4 p.m. both days and will include music, entertainment, training demonstrations, free giveaways, raffles and a gift item sale. You will also be able to snuggle with some of the adorable, adoptable animals, and talk to staff and volunteers about the work that is done in the community and how you can help. Bring your canned dog or cat food donation. Any brand is acceptable and all donations will be used to feed the hundreds of dogs and cats in our care. Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted.
