Several members of the Kiwanis Club of Copiague attended the annual Lindenhurst Kiwanis Steak Fry at Firemen’s Memorial Park. Lindenhurst holds this annual event in August to raise money for scholarships. Both the Copiague and the Lindenhurst Clubs belong to the SuffolkWest Division of the New York District of Kiwanis International. While each club operates independently, the members of each support one another’s functions for the common good. Shown in the photo, lending support to Lindenhurst are Copiague Kiwanians Sal Puglia (formerly of the Lindenhurst Club) and Phil Guerra. Guerra is the Chairman of the Copiague Kiwanis Car Show to be held again this year at Tanner Park in Copiague on Sun., Sept 13.
