Vick broke the law; Robinson broke the color barrier
Shame on Rev. Jessie Jackson for comparing Michael Vick's effort to get back into the NFL to that of Jackie Robinson who fought to overcome an endemic racism in America to become the first black player in baseball. Vick was convicted and sentenced to 23 months in federal prison and three years probation for his role in a dog-fighting conspiracy.
