Broadlawn Manor nursing and rehabilitation center receives five-star rating
Gerard Kaiser, vice president of Senior Services, proudly announced Broadlawn Manor, of Amityville has been awarded the 5 STAR Quality Rating by the United States government.
Nursing Home Compare provides quality ratings to each of the nation's 16,000 Medicare and/or Medicaid-certified homes. Each facility is rated from a low (1 Star) to the highest (5 Stars) based on three critical areas: health inspection results, quality measures and staffing levels. Kaiser stated "the quality rating system was created to help consumers, their families and caregivers compare nursing homes easily. Nursing homes vary in the quality of care and services they provide and this quality rating system provides an overview of the individual care their loved one will receive."
Kaiser congratulated all the staff at Broadlawn Manor. Mr. Kaiser recommends consumers use the 5 Star Quality Rating System in conjunction with an onsite visit to facilities. Selecting the right nursing home and rehabilitation center for your loved one is an important decision.
