•A Friday Night Coffee House Concert with the Mike Ficco Jazz Quartet will be held Fri., July 31, 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy jazz standards from the 1940s to the present. The Library's auditorium will be transformed into a coffee house. Peg IQ games, flavored coffees and small tables will add to the ambiance as you enjoy live music.

•Tai Chi will be offered Mondays, Aug. 3, 17 and 24, 7:30 to 9 p.m. Loose, comfortable clothing should be worn.

•On Wed., Aug. 5, 7:30 to 9 p.m. George Deller of the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference will be at the Library to introduce you to the sport6 of hiking and to tell you about the five Greenbelt trails across Long Island. Deller will discuss the trails and the basics of hiking. You will also learn about the free guided hikes the LI Greenbelt Trail has to offer. A question and answer period will follow.
