•Talia M. Brooks, of Massapequa, received her MD degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons on May 20. She will begin her residency in pediatrics at Schneider Children's Hospital. Brooks was the 2001 valedictorian of Amityville Memorial High School and a 2005 graduate of Columbia University.
