On Sunday June 14th, TheAmityville Kiwanis Club celebrated the 60th anniversary of their charter. The celebration was held at the Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club in Amityville with a delicious brunch. Lifelong Amityville resident and Island-wide carpenter John D. Cutillo died June 3, 2009. He was 68 and was a sailboat enthusiast. Born and raised in Amityville on Margaretta Avenue, he graduated from Amityville High School in 1958 where he was an All-Island selection in both football and wrestling.
