Amityville resident Norma Elaine Harley died April 24, 2009 at her home. She was 79. She was born July 22, 1929 in Kellerton, Iowa to Harold and Carol (Blattenburg) Pettis. In addition to caring for her family, she was an elementary educator in the Amityville School District.
