Lorraine Laquidara, who worked in Amityville, was struck and seriously injured by a truck as she walked along Carman's Road in Massapequa, died on Friday, April 3 at Nassau University Medical Center from head injuries. The accident occurred Monday, March 30, as she was walking to her job at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Massapequa Park.
