Longtime Massapequa resident and family patriarch Donald F. Corcoran, Sr. died March 25, 2009 at his home. He was 80 and had lived in Massapequa for 48 years. He was born in New York's lower East Side to Patrick and Margaret (Chadwick) Corcoran on July 6, 1928 and served in the U.S.
