Police: No skating on thin ice

During the latest cold snap residents have observed and reported that youngsters were attempting to skate on the ice at Peterkin Park. Police were called and either chased the youngsters or found that they had fled before they arrived. Police noted that there are signs posted at the park cautioning against skating or walking on the ice and prohibiting same.
