The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. New York Chapter, will be providing free income tax preparation at the North Amityville Taxpayers Association (NATA) on Saturdays beginning Jan. 31 and at the Amityville Public Library on Sundays beginning Feb. 1.

The NATA dates are Saturdays Jan. 31,; February 14 and 28, March 14 and 28 and April 4. Tax prep will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. NATA is located at 568 Broadway, Amityville and can be reached at 631-789-8869.

The dates at the Amityville Library are Sundays February 1, 8, 15 and 22 and March 1, 15, 22 and 29. Tax prep will begin at 1:30 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. The Library is located at Oak and John Streets and can be reached at 631-264-0567.

The National Association of Black Accountants has the ability to e-file both federal and state returns as well as set up direct deposit for refunds. The service is open to all (although the Library gives preference to Library patrons).
