Evan Hayes raises money for charity
Evan Hayes, a six year old who attends St. Martin of Tours School in Amityville, did a service project to raise money for cleft palate bottles for orphanages in China. With the generosity of St. Martin's families, Evan was able to raise enough money to purchase 216 bottles. The bottles will be distributed throughout orphanages in China. Most recently, family friend Vicki VanNostrand brought 10 boxes of the bottles to the earthquake affected area of Chengdu, in Sichuan Province.
