Suffolk and Nassau Hospice Care Network in need of volunteers

Hospice Care Network is seeking volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of those with terminal illness.

Hospice Care Network (HCN), one of the largest hospice organizations in New York State that serves more than 350 patients and their families daily in Suffolk, Nassau and Queens Counties, is looking for Volunteers in Suffolk and Nassau County. Volunteers serve a very important role at HCN, working with patients who are terminally ill and making sure the patient and their loved ones are as comfortable as possible during a most difficulttime.

The volunteer department at HCN will be holding training sessions throughout the months of June and July. Caring individuals who are interested in working with patients with terminal illness can contact, Coordinator of Volunteer Services at 516-224-6416.
